Montreux Sounds' Live in Montreux series continues with a travel through time to June 22, 1969, featuring a performance from The First Lady of Song, Ella Fitzgerald. This program presents a stunning performance from one of the most versatile jazz singers of all time. Joining Fitzgerald in this performance are Tommy Flanagan (piano), Frank de la Rosa (bass), and Ed Thigpen (drums).

Founded by Claude Nobs in 1973, Montreux Sounds owns a collection of 5’000 concerts “Live at the Montreux Jazz Festival” recorded both in audio and video and a certain number of co-productions with Swiss National TV (RTS) from the early editions. Since 1991, more than 2’000 were filmed in High Definition. Montreux Sounds is designed to serve artists, professionals in the audio-visual industry – broadcasters, producers, directors, documentary-makers and journalists – as well as cultural and educational institutions bodies.
